These fantasy landscapes originated from a trip to the US in 2014 searching for smooth lines, simplification of forms, and color harmony. They attempt to merge the soft profiles of the Appalachians with the sharp angles of the Alps in an ornamental game to take us beyond everyday reality — a reminder of the magic elements often hidden in the landscapes around us.
